Sharon T. Singleton

BELLOWS FALLS — Sharon Tidd Singleton, 61, died Aug. 12, 2012.

She was born May 3, 1951, and she graduated in 1969 from Bellows Falls High School.

She married Robert Singleton in 1972.

Mrs. Singleton spent years doing child care in her home and later worked at the Reading Country Store and caring for the elderly.

She was active in community affairs and enjoyed black-eyed Susans.

Survivors include two children, Ian and Danielle Singleton of Reading; her mother, Margaret Tidd; five siblings, Ellen, Joanne, Michael, Kevin and Butch; and two grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held at noon Sunday, Aug. 19, at the Moose Club in Bellows Falls.
