American Red Cross, Vermont and the New Hampshire Valley chapter, will be hosting the Rutland Region Chamber of Commerce mixer on today from 5 to 7 p.m. at 117 Strongs Ave.
The event will feature acknowledgement of Tropical Storm Irene supporters, a Vermont State Fair theme featuring classic fair foods (fried dough, hot dogs, snow cones, french fries), a historic display of 95 years of Red Cross memorabilia, Gift of Life Marathon blood drive promotion and door prizes.
