SPRINGFIELD — Louise M. Page, 95, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Springfield Hospital.
She was born June 6, 1917, in Springfield, the daughter of Lawrence and Ellen (Murchie) Grover.
She graduated in 1935 from Springfield High School.
On June 18, 1939, she married Walden F. Page in Springfield. He predeceased her in 1989.
Mrs. Page was employed in the accounting department at S.R. Young’s in Springfield for several years. She had also worked as a store clerk at Cantor Shoe Store and Paul’s Economy in Springfield.
She was a member of Crown Point Country Club and also enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, making afghans and donating her knitted mittens to Kurn Hatin.
Survivors include three children, Rodney Page of Springfield, David Page of Baltimore, Md., and Candace Cook of Chester; two sisters, Leona King and Joyce Hill, both of Springfield; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield where friends may call from 1 p.m. prior to the service officiated by the Rev. Christine Boardman.
Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Springfield and a reception will be at K.J.’s in North Springfield.
