Car crashes into Vt home, damages gas lineAugust 25,2012The Associated Press
BURLINGTON — Police say a vehicle crashed into a Burlington home, damaging a gas line running to the house and forcing police to evacuate neighboring homes.
Police said the driver was relatively new behind the wheel and hit the gas instead of the brakes when turning onto a street.
The driver, Oswan Muse, told police he swerved to avoid an oncoming car and hit the house. There were two passengers with him, and both were treated for minor injuries.
No one inside the house was hurt.
