WEST PAWLET — A Poultney woman told police she blacked out while driving on Betts Bridge Road Sunday morning but was uninjured when she awoke upside down in her car.
State police were called to the scene at 9:21 a.m. Sunday for a report that a 2005 Volvo S40 had rolled onto its roof on the east side of the road.
The driver, 20-year-old Clara Walter, was wearing her seat belt and emerged from the vehicle uninjured.
She told police she didn’t remember the crash but was issued a ticket for failing to stay in the proper lane, police said.
