Sara A. Taft

JAMAICA, Vt. — Sara Anne “Sally” Taft, 62, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012.

She was born in Peru, Vt., Oct. 10, 1949, the daughter of Ida (Wilkins) and Arthur Beauregard.

She attended Burr and Burton Seminary, class of 1967.

Mrs. Taft was a longtime employee of Kearly Fuel in Jamaica.

She was an avid photographer and known as a doer and problem-solver.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Harvey L. Taft of Jamaica: her mother; two children, H. Geoffrey Taft and Michelle Darrow; three grandchildren; two siblings, Debbie Waibel and William Beauregard; many nieces, nephews, great-nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her father.

The funeral service and celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
