September 10,2012
Green Mountain Power officials say service has been restored to roughly 380 Rutland residents after a car crash on North Main Street that took out two utility poles.
Rutland City Police said the crash, which is still under investigation, took place at 4 a.m. by the Comcast building and that power was out until about 9 a.m.
Police said the driver was taken to Rutland Regional Medical center with "non-life-threatening" injuries.
Traffic was also restricted on North Main Street for most of the morning.
