    Man suspected of car break-ins

HARTFORD — A second man was arrested Friday in connection with a series of car break-ins in the Hartford area.

Brian Alexander, 22, of Hartford, faces four charges of stolen property after police said he was involved in 22 different incidents that took place during the spring and summer. The other individual, Robert Duprey, 24, of Wilder, was also arrested and charged for involvement in the crimes last week.

Police said a search of Alexander’s home revealed stolen property from Hartford, Colchester and Williston. In addition to the four stolen property charges, he was charged with grand larceny, petit larceny and unlawful mischief, according to Hartford Police.

Alexander will be arraigned at criminal court in White River Junction on Oct. 16. The Williston and Colchester police departments are continuing an investigation into the respective cases.
