In 2011 Windsor County’s three senators voted in unison to pass a sweeping change to Vermont’s health care system. More than a year later we still don’t know how much it is going to cost, who is going to pay for it, or if we even will be allowed to keep our own doctors. Sadly, Sens. McCormack and Nitka have demonstrated no interest in producing answers to such questions. This says that they have fallen down on the job and have not properly represented their constituents in this manner.

Fortunately, the upcoming election offers Windsor County voters an opportunity to put some balance back in Montpelier by electing Dick Tracy, a commonsense businessman, and Paul Gibbs, a retired military man, who can be counted on to ask the right questions and see out answers.

They can be counted up to work hard to slow down the train wreck that one-party rule is making of Vermont’s economy.
