• Police: Man robs grocery store

    WEST RUTLAND — Vermont police are investigating a robbery at a grocery store in West Rutland.

    Police say an unidentified man reached into an open cash register while a cashier was making change for a transaction at the Price Chopper supermarket shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday. Employees said the man grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and ran out of the store.

    Authorities say nobody was injured.

    Vermont State Police are investigating.
