WEST RUTLAND — Retired Newsday editor Anthony Marro will be talking about his recent book at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the West Rutland Town Hall.

A Rutland-native, Marro will talk about his book “Philip Hoff: How Red Turned Blue in the Green Mountain State,” a biography on former Vermont Gov. Philip Hoff.

Marro co-wrote the book with Stephen Terry and the late Samuel Hand.

The event, hosted by the West Rutland Historical Society, is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be available at the end.
