The Rutland Police Department and PEG-TV are assembling a panel of experts to talk publicly this week about synthetic drugs such as bath salts and spice and the practice of huffing to get high.

Today at 6 p.m., a panel of experts in the area of drug treatment and prevention along with a drug recognition expert from the Vermont State Police will gather at the PEG-TV studio at building 24 in the Howe Center.

The panel discussion, which is open to the public, is designed to answer questions regarding the abuse of inhalants and other synthetic substances.
