Williamstown woman is cited on arson charge
WILLIAMSTOWN — The woman accused of setting her former boyfriend’s truck on fire in August has been cited for arson.
Hillary Barcomb, 33, of Williamstown is accused of setting fire to the truck belonging to Jay Joslin, 43, of Williamstown, her boyfriend at the time, on Aug. 2.
The Williamstown Fire Department responded to the fire call and found the Ford F-250 engulfed in flames. The truck was totaled.
After an investigation, state police determined that Barcomb lit Joslin’s truck on fire following an argument between the couple.
