I am writing to thank my neighbors and friends for re-electing me to represent you and all of Rutland in the Vermont Legislature. We are facing important issues, and your delegation has already begun planning bills to change the laws that will help make and keep Rutland safer while holding those who threaten our safety accountable.

The mayor, the board of aldermen, the city police, the criminal justice system, the area’s substance abuse and mental health professionals (to name a few) need your help to combat crime. We must be proactive — if you see suspicious activity, call 911, or call the city police at 773-1816 if you have questions or concerns. I love Rutland, and it is an honor to serve our great city and the state of Vermont.
