    Recalling Shakespeare’s words from the play “Henry V,” British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, referring to the Royal Air Force, introduced this phrase Jan. 18, 1940: “If the British Empire and its Commonwealth lasts for a thousand years, men will say, this was their finest hour.”
