    Ray and Lisa Blanchard's house burned today leaving the five member family homeless.

    Middletown Springs - Firefighters from several towns battled a blaze that destroyed a home on North Street late this morning.

    Middletown Springs Fire Chief Joe Castle said no one was home when the fire started and no injuries were reported. However, the fire gutted the interior and the roof had collapsed as firefighters continue to try to get the flames under control at 12:05 p.m.
