• Chester woman hits two cars and ticketed

    ROCKINGHAM — A Chester woman lost control of her Ford Focus on an icy patch of road and struck two parked cars Wednesday.

    Kathryn Murphy, 26, sustained a minor injury to her nose while her three children, who were traveling with her at the time, were uninjured. The crash took place on Pleasant Valley Road in Rockingham.

    Murphy’s vehicle sustained front, passenger side, and rear damage and was towed from the scene. The two parked cars sustained minor damage as well.

    State Police issued Murphy a ticket for driving with bald rear tires, according to the release.
