Woman injured in snowmobile crash
WOODFORD — A Massachusetts woman suffered unknown injuries in a snowmobile crash Jan. 3, according to the Vermont State Police.
Chelsea Hawksley, 27, of Pittsfield, Mass., was traveling west on a Vermont Association of Snow Travelers trail Jan. 3 in Woodford when she lost control of her 2012 Ski-doo 600 and it left the trail and struck a tree.
Police were notified about 7 p.m. Jan. 3.
Hawksley, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was taken to Southwestern Vermont Medical Center with unknown injuries by the Bennington Rescue Squad.
