The latest skier to get lost in the woods of Killington told police he had not seen the “out of bounds” signs.
Vermont State Police said 18-year-old James Rapitsky of Saratoga, N.Y., spent about 40 minutes in the woods Thursday, having left the bounds of the Pico ski area at around 4:05 p.m. He was located by police after finding his way back onto the trail at 4:45 p.m.
