Cowardice in Montpelier
It appears that our Legislature and governor are so frightened by the NRA and fellow travelers that they do not want to even discuss the possibility of gun control. Shame on them for their cowardness.
I own guns primarily for hunting, and I believe in the right to do so, but I do not see the need for anyone to possess assault type rifles anymore than they need to possess a .50-caliber machine gun.
I have been a hunter for more than 70 years and a member of the NRA for many years, but I do not approve of their intransigence on even the suggestion of some sort of reasonable gun control.
