STARKSBORO — Police say four people are facing charges after they raided an apartment house in the small Vermont town of Starksboro and seized 40 bags of heroin, 2½ pounds of marijuana and an AK-47 assault rifle.
A Vermont woman, two Vermont men and a man from Brooklyn, N.Y., are being held on bail ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 after their arrests Friday night.
Police told the Burlington Free Press that they also found a semiautomatic shotgun and more than $10,000 in cash when they executed a search warrant.MORE IN Vermont News
