Come on out this evening for a downtown pig roast to benefit Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum.

From 4 to 9 p.m., Wales Street between Center Street and Strongs Avenue will be a street party, with music, drinking and dining beneath an event tent. From 5:30 to 7 p.m., Roots the Restaurant will serve slow-cooked pork.

There is also Long Trail Ale on tap.

Dinner and beer are $5 each.

All proceeds will go towards getting Wonderfeet set up in their new permanent location at 17 Center St. The museum is expected to open its doors this summer or fall.
