Pig roast this evening in downtown RutlandStaff Report | April 30,2013Come on out this evening for a downtown pig roast to benefit Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum.
From 4 to 9 p.m., Wales Street between Center Street and Strongs Avenue will be a street party, with music, drinking and dining beneath an event tent. From 5:30 to 7 p.m., Roots the Restaurant will serve slow-cooked pork.
There is also Long Trail Ale on tap.
Dinner and beer are $5 each.
All proceeds will go towards getting Wonderfeet set up in their new permanent location at 17 Center St. The museum is expected to open its doors this summer or fall.MORE IN This Just In
