SPRINGFIELD — Olga Bedi, 94, died Thursday, May 2, 2013, at the Brookside Health & Rehab. Center in White River Junction.
She was born June 13, 1918, in Weathersfield, the daughter of Nester and Barbara (Kazonovich) Neronsky.
She attended Springfield schools.
She married Gabriel Bedi on Oct. 28, 1939, in Springfield. He predeceased her on June 22, 1980.
In earlier years, she worked as a waitress for several restaurants in the Upper Valley and in the Springfield area. She was also employed by Whitney Blake Company in Bellows Falls, before retiring in 1983.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and other crafts, and baking.
She was a longtime member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Springfield.
Survivors include a son James Bedi of Bethel; a daughter Barbara Weaver of Charlestown, N.H.; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Walter Bedi and Mitchell Bedi; a grandson Mitchell Allen Bedi; four brothers John, Mitchell and Raymond Neronsky, and infant brother Nicholas Neronsky; and a sister Lanna Dexter, A funeral service will be held Monday, May 6, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery in Springfield. David Shuffleburg from St. Mark’s Church will officiate.
Friends may call Sunday, May 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Davis Memorial Chapel.
