    on ‘speed trailer’

HARTFORD — A trailer with a digital sign displaying the speed of passing vehicles has been vandalized.

Hartford Police said wires were cut on its “speed trailer” Thursday while it was parked at the intersection of Chandler Road and Ravenswood Terrace.

Police used the trailer to deter speeding motorists and gather information about locations in town where speeding is a problem.
