    Proctorsville crash

    PROCTORSVILLE ó A local man was jailed Monday night after a single-vehicle crash on Route 103 near the intersection with Greven Road Extension, police said.

    Vermont State Police arrested Caleb Palmer of Proctorsville after the crash. His 1998 Jeep Cherokee was destroyed.

    Police said Palmer was not injured and that he was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs, possessing cocaine, driving after his license was suspended and violating conditions of release.

    He was held at the Springfield prison for lack of $2,500 bail.

    Police said the crash was caused in part by Palmerís intoxication.
