Police continue investigation of missing girlMay 13,2013Staff Report
Vermont State Police said Monday they are continuing to investigate the report of a young girl disappearing into the woods off West Proctor Road.
Police said no child had been located, nor had they received any reports of a missing girl from within Vermont or the surrounding states and that interviews with residents in the area have not produced any leads. Police said they also searched the vehicle of the person who called them regarding the girl, with the witnesses consent, but found no forensic evidence.
Police are also still trying to locate the driver of a white truck with a white cap and Oregon lisence plates that was seen in the area.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call police at 773-9101. Anyone who believes they have found the child should call 911 immediately.MORE IN This Just InMOSCOW ó Maybe it was Islamic extremists who killed Boris Nemtsov. Full Story
