• Boats stolen from Vt. marina

    FERRISBURGH — Vermont State Police are investigating the thefts of various boats and boating equipment from a marina on Lake Champlain.

    Police said somebody stole a 12-foot Zodiac with a 15-horsepower engine, a 15˝-foot kayak, an 11-foot kayak and boating equipment from the marina at the Basin Harbor Club resort in Ferrisburgh.

    The thefts were reported Sunday morning.

    Police say the stolen property has an estimated value of about $9,000.
