KILLINGTON — Killington Resort is partnering with United Way of Rutland County to kick off the summer with a fundraiser Friday.

With a $10 donation to the United Way of Rutland County, guests will enjoy lift-served mountain biking, hiking, K-1 Express Gondola rides and an 18-hole disc golf course from noon to 5 p.m. Additionally, the Killington Golf Course is offering a round of golf all-day for $30 (cart not included) and $10 will be donated to the United Way of Rutland County.

“We are pleased to partner with the United Way of Rutland Country for the eighth consecutive year,” said Rob Megnin, Killington’s director of sales and marketing. “Supporting our local community is a priority for Killington Resort, and we encourage our guests to make a donation and take advantage of a day filled with on-mountain summer adventures or a relaxing day of golf.”

In addition, Killington Resort will donate $20 from every golf, mountain bike and disc golf season pass purchased on Friday to the United Way of Rutland County. Killington golf passes are $499, mountain bike passes are $159 and disc golf season passes are only $59.

“We really appreciate the continued support from Killington Resort and the community,” said Traci Moore, executive director of the Rutland County United Way. “This event is a really creative way to benefit locals and get involved in helping a broad spectrum of people across the community.

Killington Resort will operate 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., daily from Saturday through Sept. 2.
