    Arrest made in sword assault

BURLINGTON — The U.S. Marshals Service and St. Albans police say a 24-year-old Vermont man is in custody on charges he used a sword during a domestic assault in St. Albans.

The authorities said an arrest warrant was issued for Kyle Wallace after an alleged assault that occurred Wednesday in St. Albans.

Police say that during an assault on a family member, Wallace injured another person with a sword who was trying to intervene.

Police say that Wallace was arrested Thursday by deputy U.S. marshals and Vermont State Police troopers.

It was unclear if Wallace had an attorney.
