I am writing this letter to inform Rutland County that as of June 17, after 24 years of service maintaining the property that was previously owned by the U.S. Army Reserve on North Street Extension, I am no longer responsible for its appearance and upkeep. That responsibility is now held by the city of Rutland. I decided it was necessary to write this letter because of inquiries by residents wondering why the quality of work, or lack thereof, has significantly change. In closing, I would like to thank everyone for their support and positive remarks to the U.S. Army Reserve over the last 24 years, for our work performance.
