• Stafford students take home gold, silver

    Students from Stafford Technical Center brought home gold and silver medals from a national competition in Tennessee.

    Earlier this month, Morgan Ballard, Jessica Cota and Letisha Gibbs attended the 2013 National Leadership Conference of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America in Nashville, Tenn.

    Ballard, a senior at Mill River Union High School, took the gold medal for her audio-video presentation on bullying among seventh and eighth graders at her school.

    Cota- a senior at Rutland High School- and Gibbs, a senior at Mill River, brought home a silver medal for their video presentation intended to raise awareness of child abuse.

    All three students are enrolled in Stafford’s human services program.
