• Circus’s history of violations

    I was saddened when I saw that the Walker Bros. Circus is performing in Springfield. Walker Brothers has a long history of serious violations with the USDA.

    As an animal control officer in both Massachusetts and Vermont for over a dozen years, and an HSUS-certified animal cruelty investigator in Vermont, I can say that my experience has shown that repeat offenders, particularly of not only animal health but also human health, such as Walker Bros. will rarely if ever change their methods unless shut down. I hope that day comes soon.

    Please people, think of what your “entertainment” means to other living beings, and enjoy any of the other wonderful things to do in Vermont.
