    MIDDLEBURY — The Addison County Economic Development Corp. and Addison County Relocalization Network are hosting the third annual Financing the Working Landscape Conference from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Middlebury American Legion.

    Entrepreneurs interested in receiving professional advice must apply online at acornvt.org by Sept. 27.

    The event is geared toward owners in the forestry products industry seeking capital for equipment, farmers and food manufacturers looking for opportunities to expand into new markets, and small company managers seeking guidance to address a pressing challenge.

    The cost for the event is $30 ($20 for students), and includes lunch and post-event beverages and appetizers from local food artisans and craft beverage makers.
