• Police: Woman crashes car into bank

    Rob Mitchell / Staff Photo An 84-year-old woman drove her car into the front wall of the Berkshire Bank by accident on Monday morning, drawing response from Rutland City Fire Department, police and paramedics. She was unhurt, just shaken up, and had apparently hit the wrong pedal - the gas instead of the brake - after turning into the bank parking lot, police said. Police gave her a ride home.
