    untimely death

SOUTH BURLINGTON — Police are investigating what they’ve called an untimely death in South Burlington.

Police got a call on Tuesday afternoon that a man was sleeping inside a residence. The caller indicated the man was not to be at the residence by court order.

Police recognized that 28-year-old Michael Lee Goodrich, of South Burlington and Williston, wasn’t breathing and was unresponsive. He was later pronounced dead.

Goodrich had lived at the residence on and off in the past. It currently is unoccupied.

The cause of manner of death hasn’t been determined. An autopsy was scheduled Wednesday.
