    WALPOLE, N.H. - One person has died and three people have been hospitalized - one of them charged with negligent homicide following a two-vehicle collision in Walpole, N.H.

    New Hampshire State Police say an SUV was heading north on Route 12 about 2 p.m. Sunday when the driver crossed the center line and went into the southbound lane. The driver of a southbound SUV tried to pull over to the breakdown lane before both vehicles collided.

    The northbound driver, 25-year-old Matthew Flynn, and one of his passengers, 21-year-old Gerard Flynn, both of Nashua, were taken to different hospitals. A second passenger died; that person's name has not been released.

    The other driver also was hospitalized. She is 64-year-old Marguerite Lucas of Springfield, Vt.

    Police have charged Matthew Flynn with negligent homicide.
