• Proctor holds forum on land proposal

    Proctor residents will have an opportunity today to weigh in on an offer from Omya to acquire some of their properties in town.

    A public informational meeting in front of the Select Board will be held today at 5:30 p.m. at the Library Community Room to hear input from residents about the offer which involves the Marble Building, the Lab Building and Beaver Pond.

    Omya has extended the offer to the town as well as the College of St. Joseph which is looking for lab space as the school expands its science programs.
