    A second look

    at Christmas

This may be considered early, but I just realized last night (Sept. 26) an aspect that I thought everyone should consider before the holidays come. Yes, holidays.

Now, before people start being argumentative, here’s another fact to realize. In “Christmas,” “Christ” is not pronounced, even though He is in the word — and we have the duty to say, “Christmas.” However, whether you realize it or not, “holidays” is combined in “holy days.” The word is just alternate-sounding, just as “Christmas” is. So, it is also a duty to say “holidays.”

That’s the eye-opener, not a political correction statement.
