    to honor Mandela

    Gov. Peter Shumlin has ordered that flags at Vermont facilities be flown at half-staff to honor the passing of former South African President Nelson Mandela.

    Shumlin issued the order Friday following a Presidential Proclamation.

    All U.S., state of Vermont, POW and other flags at state public buildings and grounds will remain at half-staff through sunset Monday.
