A pizza delivery driver was robbed Wednesday night by a man wielding a knife, according to Rutland City Police.

The Domino's Pizza driver was delivering an order on Williams Street, police said, when he was approached by a man wearing dark clothing and armed with a knife.

The suspect, described as standing 6-feet-tall and weighing about 200 pounds, demanded money from the driver before fleeing on foot.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Sgt. James Tarbell or Officer Charles Whitehead at 773-1816.
