    slated in Poultney

    POULTNEY — The United Methodist Church will hold a ham dinner Saturday to benefit families who have suffered from house fires recently.

    The dinner will be held from 5-7 p.m. at the church at 108 Main St. in Poultney.

    Baked ham, mashed potatoes, vegetables, rolls and cake will be served.

    Donations will be accepted, with all proceeds benefiting several local families who have lost homes and possessions in fires recently.
