    for Springfield

George McNaughton is running for Select Board. He is a candidate who will work for positive change in Springfield. He has ideas and the commitment to pursue them. He has lived, worked and volunteered in this community for many years, so he knows it well.

Itís no secret that Springfield needs positive change. For change to happen, Springfield needs a town government that is willing to keep a steady course of action that includes initiatives, not merely reactions. We need to mobilize our strengths to begin a shift in the balance between our assets and our problems.

Springfield needs an action oriented approach, and this is something that George offers. We need a town government that serves as the example that will in turn encourage positive citizen action. We need a town government that pursues grants to fund viable new projects and ideas. We need a town government that fosters collaboration among the major stakeholders in town. These are ideals that George McNaughton embraces.

You can learn more about Georgeís ideas about Springfield by reading his articles posted on www.gather.com.

I plan to vote for George McNaughton for Select Board and hope you will too.
