PITTSFORD — February is “Adopt a Rescued Rabbit” month.

According to Rutland County Humane Society, after dogs and cats, rabbits are the most-likely animals to find themselves up for adoption. Rabbits can live as long as 10 years and will bond closely with their owners. They can also be trained to use a litter box.

To learn more about the rabbits that are looking for new homes, call Rutland County Humane Society at 483-6700 or visit www.rchsvt.org
