The Rutland County Women’s Network and Shelter is grateful for the $2,000 donation that Stewart’s has made to our organization.

Thanks to the company-sponsored “Holiday Match” event, where Stewart’s customers make donations in support of local charities, every dollar that they contribute is matched by the company. This past holiday season, Stewart’s contributed over $1.3 million in support of nonprofit organizations.

This donation helps support the mission of the Rutland County Women’s Network and Shelter: to help women and children who have been the victims of abuse move forward to a life of safety, and to help prevent further instances by educating the community about the issue of domestic violence and sexual assault.

It is because of financial support from the community and matching contributions like this that we continue to serve those families who seek our assistance in moving forward to a safer life. The board, staff, and volunteers want to express our appreciation to the community and to Stewart’s for their generosity.
