    Wayne Ronald Duffy Sr.

    Wayne Ronald Duffy Sr. died Friday, May 9, 2014, at his brotherís home in Colchester, after a brief illness.

    Wayne was born March 5, 1946, in Essex Junction, where he attended and graduated from Essex High School.

    He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

    Wayne worked in the maintenance departments of Koffee Kup Bakery, Meyers, Cortina Inn and most recently, he was chief engineer for Holiday Inn of Rutland.

    He is survived by two brothers: Dennis, of Colchester, and Gerald, of Essex; one sister, Judy, of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews; as well as his first wife, Linda Garrison, and her family.

    He was predeceased by his parents, Madeline (Pecor) and Gaylord Duffy; his sister, Bernice; and his second wife, Lori.

    A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2014, at Holiday Inn of Rutland.
