SHAFTSBURY — The Vermont State Police will be hosting a meeting next month in Shaftsbury to re-establish a community advisory board.
The board will be comprised of individuals from 12 Bennington County communities.
Police say the advisory board allows communities to share resources, relate experiences and offer solutions.
The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Aug. 7 at Shaftsbury Fire Department. A police lieutenant will make a presentation and answer questions.
Those interested in attending are asked to contact the state police barracks at 442-5421.
