On a recent Saturday I fell at the Rutland farmers’ market, resulting in an elbow dislocation.

I want to thank everyone who came to my rescue — a chair to sit in, ice for my elbow, water and the usage of cell phones.

Also the humor from the ambulance attendants. They made an extra trip to the market for my veggies from Evening Sun (above and beyond the call of duty).

And for the ER doctor, the caring and efficient personnel, you made my stay pleasant.

I don’t know your names, but accept my heartfelt thanks.

What a wonderful place we live in.
