A Chittenden man was fined $200 Monday after he pleaded guilty to a Department of Fish and Wildlife offense for permitting his beagle to chase deer.
Jake E. Duprey, 29, was issued a ticket last month for violating fish and wildlife rules for not leashing his dog after Duprey had been warned in April that the animal had been seen chasing deer near his Middle Road home.
