Vermonters shine in New Englands

  

In Gilford, N.H., Rutland's Mary Kate Cirelli and Brattleboro's both shone at the Eastern High School Championships last weekend. Cirelli won the 1.2K sprint in the time of 3 minutes, 40.8 seconds, was fourth in the 7.5K mass start in 28:22.9 and fourth in the 5K free in 18:59.
