"Let's Talk About Death!"
The Rutland Death Cafe provides a forum for people to openly discuss death and all that it encompasses. The word death causes one to shy away and pretend it "won't happen to me". But it will and does, so why not talk about it? Share our thoughts, fears, plans and perhaps find answers.
The Rutland Death Cafe will be held the SECOND Friday of every month, 4p to 5pm. Beginning December 13th.
Please note in the winter months we adhere to school closings due to inclement weather.
To be clear, this is not a grief or bereavement support group. It is a time to have an open, honest dialogue about a subject we will all face in our lives. To learn how we can move toward our death freely so that we can enjoy our lives in the time that we have.
So, let's talk about death!
Coffee and Tea will be provided. Dessert options will be offered. Feel free to bring your own if you have special diet. Let the host know of any dietary allergies, such as nuts.
- Starting Friday, December 13th, 2019, repeats every month on the 2nd Friday until Saturday, December 12, 2020 @ 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
